LSPR’S free summer concert series kicks off this Friday with Rock the Green, June 20

Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation presents the first of three free, live concerts featuring bands from all over the Kansas City metro. The first in the series is “Rock the Green.” This concert features classic rock from the sixties and seventies. This family fun event set for June 20 and will feature “New Medicine,” “The Kaopectones,” and “The Shmedleys.” The concert begins at 7 p.m. and goes until 10:30 p.m. and is held on Green Street in Downtown Lee’s Summit on the City Hall Plaza. The concert is free and food and drink vendors will be on site. No coolers, alcohol or glass bottles will be allowed.
