Bennie B. Solomon

Bennie Boyd Solomon, born Aug. 7, 1930, in Salem, Mo., passed away June 13, at the age of 83. He is survived by the love of his life, Sally Joan, whom he was married to for over 60 years; two children Jacquelyn Solomon (Rod Higbee); Bennie J. Solomon (Pamela); three grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie), Jared and Paige; two great-granddaughters Bailey and Addison Solomon.

During the Korean War Bennie served as a Corporal in the US Army. He worked as an over-the-road driver for PIE trucking company for over 30 years. A Celebration of Bennie’s life will be held on June 28 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lees Summit from 1-4 p.m.
