Summit Christian Academy placed three players on the Class 3 District 14 all-district baseball team recently.
Selected to the first team were seniors Reuben Erisman and Taurin Hughes, sophomore Robbie Suhr and freshman Camden Sprouse. Erisman batted .407 for the Eagles with a team-leading 28 RBIs and 12 doubles. Hughes, who has signed to play basektball at Truman State next year, batted .348 and scored 22 runs.
Surh led the team in triples with three and runs scored with 29, while Sprouse batted .435 with 23 runs scored and 16 RBIs.
SCA also had freshmen Brady Garmon and William Finch selected for the second team. Finch compiled a team-best 6-2 record pitching for the Eagles with 45 strikeouts and a 1.93 ERA. Garmom batted .333 and drove in 21 runs.
SCA finished the season 15-10, falling to district champion Holden in the semifinals.
