LSPR's free Summer Concert Series ‘Jamaican Jam’ July 18

Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation presents “Jamaican Jam” the second of three, free, live concerts featuring bands from the Kansas City metro playing the island sounds of reggae. This family fun event set for Friday, July 18 and will feature “Arm the Poor,” “Jah Lion,” and “Az-One.” The concert begins at 7 p.m. and goes until 10:30 p.m. and is held on Green Street in downtown Lee’s Summit on the City Hall Plaza. So dig out your dreads, mark the dates on the calendar and invite your friends and enjoy hanging out in downtown Lee’s Summit. The concert is free and food and drink vendors will be onsite. No coolers, alcohol or glass bottles will be allowed.
