McAlister’s Deli celebrates annual free tea day July 24

McAlister’s Deli will celebrate its sixth annual Free Tea Day July 24 and Lee’s Summit residents who visit the local restaurant at 910 NW Blue Parkway will receive a free 32-ounce McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea.

The free tea is limted to one per guest and no coupon is required and no purchase is necessary.

In honor of its 25th anniversary, McAlister’s is also counting down to Free Tea Day with a Facebook photo contest. Participating McAlister’s locations will have a life-sized iced tea glass cut out in the restaurant and guests can enter the contest by taking a photo with the iced tea cut out and uploading it to their local McAlister’s Deli Facebook page with the hashtag #FreeTeaDay2014.

From the photos, 25 winners will be selected for a $100 gift card and one grand prize will be given for McAlister’s Catering for up to 25 people. McAlister’s will begin to accept submissions July 14 will run though Free Tea Day, July 24.
