Fourth Friday Art Walk, Yoga in the Streets in downtown July 25

July 25, 2014

Lee’s Summit residents will have a chance to experience two free community events in the downtown area of town.

Fourth Friday features artist exhibits, live art demonstrations, live music, food and more from 5 to 8 p.m. July 25 at participating downtown Lee’s Summit businesses. LMS Wine Creators will offer “Drink & Draw” from 6 to 8 p.m., where artists can just show up with their sketchbooks and pencils, then draw from a live model at no charge to the artist. Also, Music in the Park concert series continues from 6:30 to 10 p.m. in Howard Station Park.

Yoga instructor Debra O’Bryan is bringing Yoga in the Streets back to downtown Lee’s Summit during Fourth Friday as well. Yoga will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Plaza, 220 S.E. Green St. Bring a mat to the free outdoor yoga session, which is for all ages and skill levels. Yoga in the Streets also will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 30.
