Lane closures on Pryor Road

August 19, 2014

Construction to finish improving shoulders of Pryor Road began Aug.15, closing the southbound lane between Longview and Hook roads.

Drivers are asked to use Ward Road as a detour. The northbound lane of Pryor Road has reopened to one-way traffic from Hook to Longview roads. Construction is expected to be complete in October.

Voters approved the improvements in an April 2013 bond issue, with the goal of the project is improving safety, reducing maintenance costs and providing “complete streets” along the corridor.
