Hope House to host tonight its fifth annual Margarita Ball

April 29, 2016

Hope House is hosting its fifth annual Margarita Ball tonight. This year’s event will be held at Club 1000 on Broadway in downtown Kansas City beginning at 7 p.m.

“This event is different than others,” Hope House CEO MaryAnne Metheny said. “It is not a sit down dinner; rather a fun-filled night, with great food, drinks and lively atmosphere. We even have some fun surprises in store for our guests while they dance the night away to The Patrick Lentz Band.”

Signature sponsors for the 2016 Margarita Ball include Lathrop & Gage, LLP, MacFarlane Group, and KCTV5’s Take 5 To Care.

Proceeds raised from the event will help provide refuge and supportive services that educate and empower those impacted by domestic violence, while continuing to advocate social change that protects a person’s right to live a life free of abuse.

“We are thankful for our volunteers, donations and sponsors including our event co-chairs, Tiffany Goddard-Snyder, Dr. Lance Snyder, Rachel Sexton and Brian King that help make this event a success.” Metheny said.

Tickets for the event are available at the door from 7 to 11 p.m.
