A crowd gathered for National Day of Prayer at noon Thursday at Lee's Summit City Hall. Tim Jarrett of Discover Church, Lee's Summit, kicked off the program with songs of worship.

Local Christians will gather at noon May 3 at Lee’s Summit City Hall to pray for their families, community, nation and world in observance of the National Day of Prayer.
